Currently Trending’s mission is to teach young adults how to navigate challenging experiences so they can LEARN, LEAD, LIVE purposefully, and LOVE generously.
We work alongside teachers, parents, and partners to provide Philadelphia’s High School students in grades 9-12 and recent graduates with extended learning opportunities to ensure that they graduate equipped with the tools needed to excel in college, the workforce, and in life.
Leadership Development sessions focused on one Leadership Pillar per month. The pillar is introduced, modeled, and then the students work in a team to role play how it will be used in their everyday lives.
Parent Engagement Sessions
We truly believe that the parents make our program a huge success and we want to include them in many decisions we make. The leadership pillars taught must be reinforced and demonstrated at home.
